1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Langpa, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the application.

2. License Grant & Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Langpa grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the application on compatible iOS and Android devices owned or controlled by you for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

• You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the application or its curriculum data assets.
• You agree not to redistribute, sell, lease, or syndicate the authored Spanish curriculum, audio recordings, or lesson structures.

3. In-App Subscriptions & Billing

Certain advanced capabilities, such as AI conversational practice with Gemini (up to 40 cloud response attempts per UTC day), are made available via optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Langpa Premium" or "Cloud AI"):

• Store Billing: Payments are billed through your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the active period.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage, alter, or cancel your active subscription anytime in your device account settings:
  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions
• Refunds: Refund requests are governed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store refund policies. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active store subscription; you must cancel it in your store settings.

4. Acceptable AI Usage Policy

When participating in conversational role-play with the AI tutor, you agree not to input content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringing on intellectual property. We reserve the right to limit access to AI conversational features in the event of persistent abuse.

5. Educational Outcomes & Disclaimer of Warranties

The Langpa course teaches useful beginner and conversational Spanish interactions. Completing exercises within the software does not guarantee fluent conversation or certify an official CEFR level. Acoustic evaluation and speech recognition within the app provide software-based feedback and do not replace independent clinical or pedagogical evaluation.

The application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

6. Account Termination & Deletion

You have the right to terminate your account and erase all associated cloud data at any time via the in-app deletion button or our web deletion portal at langpa-ff08a.web.app/delete-account.
